Cindy Alane Peterson (55) of Chesapeake VA formerly of Sussex County DE and Freeland MD, lost her battle with cancer Wednesday, July 3, 2019, surrounded by family and loved ones at her home in Chesapeake, VA.
She was born July 22, 1963 in York, PA. She was the daughter of Bruce Richard Peterson and Zelda Nelms (Cross) Peterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bruce Richard Peterson of Mt Airy, MD and Zelda (Cross) Peterson of Selbyville, DE. She is survived by her partner of 11 years Mark Morgan; sisters Tracy Peterson of Lutherville, MD and Kelly Moore and her husband Michael Bailey; nephews Keegan Moore of Baltimore, MD and George Moore of Frankford, DE
A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date, all other services were private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to your local animal rescue or The American Cancer Society.
